Established in 2002, Yonkers Downtown/Waterfront Business Improvement District, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that fosters collaboration, promotes investment, and assists with projects to create a well-sustained business district. Providing year-round supplemental cleaning and events, The YDWBID strives to implement economic revival and promote cultural, historical, tourist, and civic interests of Yonkers Downtown. The YDWBID helps public/private resources such as service firms, retail establishments, property owners, and others cooperate and promote business opportunities, employment, consumer choices, and general civic interests.
