C.E.T. Painting

Carlos and his team are excellent painters. From the day I received his quote I knew CET would be good to work with. The quote is laid out very professionally with multiple documents clearly taking me (the homeowner) through the process. We agreed on a fair price and started 3 weeks later.

In addition to the pressure wash and stain to our home, we also needed several carpentry items done. Carlos' excellent carpenter did a top notch job replacing damaged siding and the difficult job of adding copper flashing caps to the many beams extruding from the house (post & beam). That come out beautifully.

We recommend C.E.T. for any paint job. Carlos stopped by the worksite almost every day and was super easy to communicate any issues that came up.

We just completed another home repair project with C.E.T. Painting and once again, could not be more pleased. I wholeheartedly recommend this company with no reservations. This time, we had the team paint the sides of our house that are two stories high. We also had them replace some broken cedar shake shingles and to remove and replace the lattice under our deck. Once again, they did a professional, thorough job. They were on time every day, worked a full day, and did the job during their busy July month as promised to us. Carlos is honest, professional and although can be a tad higher than other job bidders, it's worth every penny. We've had him and his team replace windows, our front door, and repair our basement, twice, after flooding damage. They're excellent.

Carlos and his team did an amazing job painting the exterior of our home. They were always professional and gave the house renewed curb appeal. They did such a great job we even hired them to do other work such as installing crown molding on our cabinets and a new storm door. I would highly recommend them.

Carlos and CET were amazing!! They pay very close attention to detail, the walls and exterior are crisp, any cracks or damage is gone and completely unnoticeable. I have now had several jobs done now, exterior, doors, interior rooms; and both pre-covid19 and during. They follow all guidelines and are very aware of your concerns. They will ensure you feel safe. They are very reasonable and fair with cost.
I will definitely continue to use them.

Carlos and his team have done a lot of work for us over the last couple of years. Interior and exterior painting, installing wainscoting, deck repairs and painting, installing stair banisters and spindles, installing new molded doors, etc. Every time his crew is efficient and does high quality work. They always clean up well after the work. And his prices are fantastic! I don't hesitate to recommend Carlos to anyone needed painting or carpentry in their home!

The crew and work were fabulous-safe, clean and a meticulous beautiful job! Everything promised was done to perfection. Can't recommend enough. Carlos and his crew installed base and crown molding for us. They did a fantastic job. They were on time/early, neat, and highly skilled. They worked extremely quickly and their work was top notch! Fair prices too.

As good as it gets is practically an understatement.

Carlos and his team turned around a big crownmoulding/painting for me in under a week.

His team was so professional - they arrived, surveyed the situation and got right to work. I honestly heard almost nothing from the room on the days they were working.

And, on that topic, they estimated three days to complete all the work, but were done in only two. That despite having to prime the walls and apply two coats.

Their work is flawless. Even under the harsh light of the following days/weeks, I have yet to see any spots that I'm not happy with.

Carlos even did me a huge favor: I had selected a crown moulding that, to his eye, was too small for the large room. He took the initiative to find a larger moulding that was in the same style as what I picked out, and I'm so glad he did. What he picked out is perfect.

Things to note: Some companies won't move your furniture. CET did. Some companies won't pick up the paint. CET did.

I recommend them without hesitation.

We used C.E.T. Painting 7 months ago for exterior soffit painting of our house. When it was time to think about painting the inside, there was only one contractor that I called. Carlos gave me a fully descriptive proposal with fair and reasonable unit pricing (not surprising) and we arranged for the work to be performed while we were not in the house for one week. This is a personal level of trust that we felt comfortable knowing that Carlos was overseeing the work with our designer/project manager. After each work day, Carlos emailed me a progress report to manage expectations. This was unsolicited and unexpected. As a residential property manager of NYC Coops & Condos for 35 years, this was very impressive, and shows the purposeful level of care and concern that C.E.T. provides to enhance the customer service experience. At the end of the project, our house was clean, the furniture was returned to their exact, original positions, and the finished product was as expected- pretty much perfect with no punch list items- other than the replacement of old kitchen cabinet fasteners, which broke while removing the door to sand and repaint. Carlos is taking it upon himself to find replacement fasteners to reinstall that one cabinet door. Our next two projects will be in Spring 2021. C.E.T. will be painting the garage walls and ceiling, and grinding the garage floor to allow for adhesion of the epoxy paint. We've also asked Carlos for a proposal to paint the entire exterior of the house.
